Seattle, now you know how much I love Mexican food, and this place has made a home in my heart.
Now I was a tad bit disappointed that my order was incorrect, but if you live in the Beacon Hill area, you know that places like these do their best in making up for their mistakes the next time around.
I was impressed with the way the team helped in all areas of service.
Our food came to the table hot and delicious. It was nothing over the top. Just good food made well.
If you're looking for a great little lunch place and Mexican food is calling, check out this up and coming hot spot.
Very delicious meats but very small portion for the price. If I were the owner I would consider doubling the Tortillas as it’s very small and thin. Big guy would need 6 tacos to be full.
You go to the counter to order your food and they bring it to your table. Also you get your own water/condiments from common area so limited service.
Coming to the food we got the taco plate. It comes with beans and rice which was really amazing, probably the best I've ever had. The tacos were good as well but have had better. Overall, would recommend.
This is the spot you’ve been looking for. Authentic Mexican food is hard to find in Seattle, and this is it. I’d passed by this place many times and am kicking myself that I’ve only just now tried it. Tacos are on point. The beef soup was really nice. Sweet corn tamale was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. Unpretentious environment. Very friendly employees. Salsa bar. What more could you want? The Mexican grocery next door is also a gem. Definitely heading there in the future for fajita meat.
Outstanding flavors and aromas. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great tacos, enchiladas and carnitas. The carnitas plate is very tasty and more than enough to meet hungry appetites.
The best Authentic Mexican food I have had in Seattle by a long distance. It’s an unassuming place and almost a ‘hole in the wall’ kind of place but in a very good way. Very friendly service and excellent food. The charcoal grilled pork tacos were awesome.
The place is very close to the link station who are coming by public transport.
True yummy regional Michoacan Mexican food without unneeded posh. Go there and sit, or take out. Now. The true story behind the menu comes from the owner herself. Sadly, I forgot her name, but here's how it goes. Prior to coming to Seattle, she worked as a cook in a casino. When she moved to Seattle and wanted to open up an authentic regional Mexican restaurant, she asked her two grown sons what should be on the menu. They simply told her to cook all the delicious foods she cooked for them when they were growing up. And so, it is. The menu is a statement of a mother's love for her family and a tribute to her roots and children who actually work at the restaurant too. And it is a salute to the people and culture of Michoacan, Mexico.
Awesome tacos! I had a taco plate with carnitas. The food was on my table about three minutes after I ordered. The tortillas were super fresh (I think that they make them in house) and did not fall apart while I ate. The carnitas were very porky. The rice and meat needed a bit of salt which was on the table. The rice was super fluffy and the beans had a lovely earthy taste to them. The music is a bit loud for me.
